Shows on the guest app ("Scan at entry · [venue]").
Used only for the greeting on their dashboard
(“Welcome, Stacey”). Blank shows no greeting.
The number guests see before the reveal —
“N bartenders, one winner.” Leave blank to count the roster
automatically. This is display only; it doesn’t hide anyone.
Before = holding screen + email capture, no voting
or entry pass buying. Live = the normal app. After = the Toast and
reveal. ⚠ This is what guests SEE — it does not open or close voting.
Use the Voting switch for that.
Shows "Presented by [name]" in the header. Leave blank to hide.
Shows on the post-event screen, e.g. "Sept 20 · Emmy Squared".
Drives "Back at {venue}: {date}" on the venue partner
dashboard. Blank hides that card.
Shows on the guest giveaway screen.
One line on what it is. Shows under the prize name.
The picture behind the venue name on the guest home
screen. Blank uses the bundled photo.
JPG or PNG, up to 5 MB. Uploads as soon
as you pick it — then hit Save below.
Paste a link to a photo of the prize. Blank shows a placeholder.
Shows in the guest app header, e.g. "Sat Aug 2".
Paste the venue's menu link. When set, a "Food menu" button appears for guests.

Vote Economy
While hidden, the guest app shows "Competitors announced soon —
N bartenders, one winner." instead of any name, photo or drink — on the home
lineup, the voting list, the tasting screen and the profile pages.
Voting is impossible while hidden (there is nobody to vote for), but check-in,
wallet, entry passes, vote packs, gifting, missions and the giveaway all keep working.
⚠ Load the real roster into Bartenders FIRST, then reveal — revealing with
placeholder rows still in place shows the placeholders. Guests see the change within
about 3 seconds; no deploy or refresh needed.
What everyone gets just for checking in.
Reward for buying a cocktail.
Reward when a guest brings someone.
Reward for the social follow.
Ceiling on earned votes so nobody can dominate.

Scan Entry Passes
You’re signed in. There is nothing to scan on this
page. Guests check in on their own phone: they open the Dirty Rocks app and type their
email or mobile number. A guest’s entry pass screen says “Show this at the door.”
Ask them to show it to you.
My Profile
Voting is open, so profiles are locked. This is what guests see right
now. Need something changed? Ask an organizer.
The basics
Guests see these three. You need all of them before
you can save.
JPG or PNG, up to 5 MB. It
uploads as soon as you pick it, so a slow connection cannot cost
you the rest of the form.
Tell us more
Optional, but the more we know, the more we can hype
you up. None of this stops you saving.
Your link & your passes
You have 5 free entry passes to give away. Use the form
below: type your guest’s email and full name, then tap the button. We
email them their entry pass.
Your own link is below too. Send it to friends. When they
buy through it, they pay $20 for General Admission (while your $20
entry passes last), and the sale counts for you.
Can’t make an event?
Ask to be taken out of the lineup. This does not
remove you — an organizer sees your request and decides, and
you’ll hear back from them.
Leave this page open. While voting is open, a short message pops up
on this screen each time a guest votes for you. It does not show how many
votes you have. Nobody sees the scores until the winner is announced.
Bartender Roster
Bartenders who signed up at /compete.html.
Signing up is not being in a competition. Add to event
creates their competitor row and their login — guests can see them
from that moment.
Bounty Hunter
Off by default. Turn it on only when you’ve tested
it at this venue — guests see nothing at all while it is off.
Meet Someone New / Pick a Side / Wild Card, then the per-guest cap.

Staff & Roles
Event Close-out
Not closed out.
Starts the 24-hour clock. Support, engagement leads, bartenders and
sponsors lose access to this event 24h later. Managers, organizers and HQ persist.
Entry Pass Pricing
What each entry pass costs and how many votes it loads. VIP is capacity
limited — the cap is enforced in the database, so it cannot be oversold even
through the API. Prices are money, so only an organizer or HQ can change them.
Each tier also carries its own “X of Y left” switch. Turn it off and
guests see the entry pass without the remaining count — a sold-out tier still reads
Sold out, because that one is not ours to hide.
Entry passPrice $VotesCap
Vote Packs
Mid-event top-ups, sold on top of an entry pass. Same money
permission as entry pass pricing. The cap below is the most any one person may ever
buy at this event — entry passes and packs combined. Earned votes are
unlimited and are never counted against it.
Paid rows are written only by the Stripe webhook. Nothing in this
admin can mark a purchase paid.
Leads
Visitors who asked for the lineup. Unverified: anyone can type an
address. Email them only through a tool with an unsubscribe link.
Announce Winner
Pick the winner the emcee just named, then push it. Every guest
phone fires the reveal — crown, fireworks, sound, vibration. This never
happens automatically.
Giveaway Draw
Draws at random from real entries — one vote cast is one
entry. The pick happens inside the database, so it cannot be nudged from here.
Only the winner’s phone reacts.
Run of Show — The Toast
Your closing ritual. Nothing here touches a guest phone and
nothing fires on a timer — tick each step as you do it.
Ring the guest up on the venue's POS first. Then key in what
they had, hand them the code, and let them scan it. Each code works once.
A screenshot of a used code is worth nothing.
0 votes
Guest scans this with their phone
camera. It opens their entry pass and banks the votes. Can’t scan? They can
type the code into their entry pass instead.
Missions
Name each mission, set what it pays, switch it on or off.
Rewards must be between 1 and 15 votes — the database rejects
anything outside that, so a bad value cannot be saved by any route.
MissionVotes
HQ Mission Defaults
The starting set every new event inherits. Changing this does
not touch events that already exist — edit those in Missions above.
MissionVotes
Comp Votes
Give a guest extra votes by hand. Every comp is written to a
permanent log with your name and your reason, and the organizer and HQ are alerted
in their dashboard. The log cannot be edited or deleted, by you or by anyone else.
Use a negative number to take votes back. A comp can never push
a balance below zero.
Keep this link private — anyone with it can open or close voting.
